Lezley’s and the Aldershot Lions have joined forces to host a charity golf tournament at Century Pines Golf Club on July 13th 2009. Our goal is raise enough funds to donate a much needed van to the Compassion Society of Halton. The Compassion Society is a community based organization that provides “free clothing, food and referrals . . . from the community to the community”. The Society’s Director, Mina Wahidi was named the City of Burlington Citizen of the Year for 2008.
However, we can’t reach our goal without your generous support. Please consider participating in our Tournament. Register a team, sponsor a hole, donate prizes or grab bag items. Your support would be well recognized and appreciated.
It is a difficult business environment and your options to support our Tournament maybe limited, however your involvement in the Tournament will make a difference in our community through the efforts of the Compassion Society.
